About

Elise’s interest in feet started at a young age of 14. She suffered painful ingrown toenails growing up in Malaysia. She finally saw a podiatrist, had nail surgery and hasn’t had a problem since.

“Wow!”, she thought.
“That’s incredible! A podiatrist is like a foot doctor and feet school is half the time of medical school!

Fast forward quite a few years, Elise graduated from AUT University in December 2013.
She started working in private practice in the sunny Bay of Plenty, in a little town called Whakatane, where all her feet adventures began. After a few years, she felt the itch to travel, resulting in her crossing the ditch and moving to the brunch city of her dreams, eating her way through Melbourne and practicing podiatry. Elise then found herself in the land of sunshine, the Gold Coast, hiking her way through rainforests and going where the feet life led her. Now, she has come back to her senses, moved home to beautiful New Zealand (no snakes here!) and has decided to move to the majestical New Plymouth.

Elise is excited about the world of podiatry and the magic it has to transform lives. She loves that podiatry has a broad spectrum and no two feet are the same. Elise enjoys all aspects of podiatry and has developed a keen affinity for nail surgeries, general care, high risk diabetes and clinical biomechanics. Having nine years of clinical experience under her belt, she’s excited to showcase her skills and knowledge to the New Plymouth community.

Be it a sore corn, achy foot or a niggly ingrown toenail, Elise is here to help you out.

Have a fantastic day :)
